01. Your first check

A Guard holds policies and a decision model. check_input scores one message: ok says whether to go on, and onward is the text to send next. The lesson checks a harmless message and an injection attempt.

Thresholds are application choices: 0.72 for Jev, 0.5 for tev1. See Thresholds.

Needs: TYPESAFE_API_KEY.
